Gold Coin Arizona
The Gold Coin property is located about 120 kilometres southeast of Tucson, Arizona, within the historic Turquoise mining district of Cochise county. The property's main exploration target is low-sulphidation epithermal gold mineralization hosted within sediments - a low-cost, surface bulk-tonnage gold target. Continuous rock chip samples collected from the Double Eagle trenches have yielded highlight gold results of 13.72 metres of 3.12 grams per tonne (including 6.10 metres of 4.65 g/t) and 18.29 metres of 1.85 g/t (including 4.57 metres of 5.61 g/t). The Phase 1 exploration program of ground-based geophysical surveying, detailed soil sampling and geological mapping is complete. Review of these gold exploration data reveals that the Gold Coin claims encompass three large and distinct zones of coincident soil & geophysical anomalies. Secova has prioritized these target areas for diamond drill testing, which is anticipated to start in late February.
